5 Jan: #2 Team Building Challenge - Debrief (II) Personal Reflection

I understand that we must do our best to excel. It drives us to our goals and helps us to achieve. I set clear goals and do my best to succeed. I can cultivate perseverance and the sense of when to be serious and when not to. Preferably, I can also cultivate leadership and humility. I would like to fully exploit the opportunities in SST to develop myself. I could pour in all my ideas which form in my head all the time because of inspiration 'bursts'.

4 Jan: #4 Bridge Building Activity - Debrief (II) Personal Reflection

I felt that there would be everyone to help, so I figured out that we should already have our plan in mind and start building. But when we started, we had a change of plans and suddenly everyone started coming up with ideas. I should have been more serious and helped the group instead. At least I helped out in stabilizing the structure of the bridge at the end. Although we did not finish the bridge, this has taught me to be more serious.

My Digital Collage

I like to visit Google Earth and Google Maps. Google Earth is very interesting to have a bird's eye view of everything on Earth. Google Maps even allows you to find directions to two different destinations/locations, at the same time providing you with the distance and time duration. You can also search for places of interest and nearby eateries.

Southern Ridges Trail, Singapore in a larger map

My family and I tried out the Southern Ridges trail and found it very interesting. Along the way, I enjoy walking on the Henderson Waves which is a bridge that spans across Henderson Road. The wave designs on the bridge was very intricate and the wooden flooring was unique. My little Silky Terrier, Skeet, was thrilled because he had never been at such a height of 36 metres above ground level. The walk was enjoyable although the weather was hot and humid.

Walking among nature at the Marang trail.

Relishing the scenic views at Mount Faber Walk.

Henderson waves is like a 'sea' in the sky.

Forest walk - The steel structure spans over the forest in a 1.3km long route.

Alexandra arch with precise arches flanking its two sides.

Enjoy the Canopy Walk around the hill next to the tree canopies.

Creating a blog

This is the first time I learnt to create a blog so I kept on making mistakes, but I watched the video and managed to create this blog. We can use blogs to ask questions and state our opinions so that others can learn from one another.

When I received my SST confirmation letter...

When I realised that I managed to get into SST, all my worries vanished. I was over the moon and could not wait to start my whole new experience at SST. This picture depicts a cow (that's me) and the colourful balloons show that I passed my PSLE exam with flying colours (or balloons).
